Le clip de "The Child" est le prolongement de plusieurs pochettes de disques, dont celle du groupe Demon, représentant un immeuble new-yorkais en typographie. Au même moment, Alex Gopher a demandé à H5 la vidéo du morceau "The Child", alors que sa femme était enceinte de leur premier enfant. 

En résulte, ce clip entièrement graphique racontant le trajet mouvementé d’un couple se rendant à l’hôpital pour un accouchement. Chaque éléments du décor est représenté par un mot l’illustrant.

The video “The Child” is an extension of several record covers, including the Demon cover, which depicts a New York building in typography. At the same time, Alex Gopher asked H5 for the video of the song 'The Child', while his wife was pregnant with their first child.

The result is a fully graphic clip about a couple's eventful journey to hospital for the birth of a child. Each aspect of the setting is represented by a word that illustrates it.
