GREENPEACE x ETIENNE DE CRÉCY

Pour dénoncer la tragédie de la déforestation en Amérique du Sud et l’urgence à mettre en œuvre de véritables mesures politiques pour y mettre un terme, Greenpeace a demandé à H5 de concevoir le film de sa campagne de sensibilisation.

Choisissant de ne pas tourner, H5 a travaillé à partir d’images d’archives pour créer un film de montage dont la narration en reverse donne à voir la violence d’une chaine de production insensée et l’absurdité d’une surconsommation de viande destructrice. 

Pensé par Ludovic Houplain comme un clip musical, le film est un constat brut dont la BO originale, signée Etienne de Crecy, sonne comme un rappel à l’ordre au beat frénétique.

With the aim of denouncing the tragedy of deforestation in South America and the urgency to implement real political measures to put it to an end, Greenpeace asked H5 to produce the film of its awareness campaign.

Choosing not to shoot, H5 worked from archive footage to create an editing film whose reverse narration reveals both the violence of an insane production line and the absurdity of a destructive overconsumption of meat.

Designed by Ludovic Houplain as a music video, the film is a raw observation whose original soundtrack, a frenzied beat by Etienne de Crecy, sounds like a call to order.
